We have integrated OneID® into our checkout as the most straightforward method of doing this. OneID® helps you connect to your bank so that you can use that information to verify your details in a fast, private and secure way. Instead of uploading documents and taking selfies, it only takes a few clicks to confirm your name, age, address or any information you need.
Should you wish to by-pass OneID® at checkout, we will request an alternative means of verifying your age, most commonly a form of photo ID such as a driver's licence.
Our couriers are also legally obliged to verify the age of the recipient at point of delivery. All age-restricted items are marked as such and dispatch via the AV service with Parcelforce, and you must be able to produce photographic identification proving the recipient / purchaser is over 18 years of age. Because of this, the courier may not be able to leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour if AV is not completed. They are also unable to leave your parcel at a Post Office.
