Brilliant product

Bought for myself very good every day carry knife

I’m a knife collector as a “hobby” but also use them for hunting trips so have a wide variety that go in my kit bag and on my person. This knife is absolutely beautiful, the weight and balance is spot on, blade is razor sharp and holds its edge very very well! Quick run through an “any sharp” and it’s back to a razors edge. The sheath, I really like the fact that you can adjust at what angle the belt loop sits. The grip is nice and thick with only 1 retaining screw per side, when remove the grips slide out of a key way groove. All in all a very simple and beautifully designed blade made from 440c. Purchased a good few SOG blades now and they are my go to every time!

This has been on my purchase list for more years than I can remember!
I would just like to give it a little bit of feedback
First off the knife itself, absolutely love it it’s exactly how I have imagined it for so many years very happy a couple of criticisms, the blade isn’t as sharp as I was expecting from some of the videos I’ve seen and reviews I’ve watched they’ve claimed this to be Razor sharp
in this case it is not that.
I did the paper cut test and it wasn’t slicing through. It was cutting, but also a little tearing.
But that’s something I will need to get sorted because a sharp knife is a safe knife!
Also, I think you need to ream the lanyard hole because I put some para cord on and while just doing some air slices and a couple of feathers. It’s actually cut through a few strands of the lanyard, and whilst in my hand and feeling it with my thumb and index finger it actually feels quite sharp so I have removed the para cord. I’m not sure what to do or use as I don’t want to damage it.

Now for the bit that is annoying me a little bit more, the case it snaps in perfectly fine into the sheath and once in maybe 3mm of movement however the snap on clip is not easy to clip on. It’s taking me far too much time to negotiate that especially when it’s on your hip I can’t actually do it with one hand. And I’m no stranger knives had full tang knifes for over 35 years lol
When in my hand and negotiated with the right strength and alignment. I can pop it on and I’ve been doing that for an hour and it hasn’t made it any easier.
I didn’t want a custom-made sheath but maybe I might need to look for one

Excellent knife, just the right weight, razor sharp blade. Great sheath, although I think a metal snap would be better than the plastic one. SOG knives are great. Had one many years ago and it was very reliable. So found your website and bought this one. Very happy, and better than the competition such as Gerber and Cold Steel in my opinion.
